Détroit French History Cruise

ATTENTION! DETROIT FRENCH HISTORY CRUISE RESCHEDULED!

Dear Rendez-vous Detroit Friends,

On Friday, May 12, we were informed that the boat chartered for the Détroit French History Cruise, the Diamond Belle, will not be back in Détroit by our scheduled May 21 tour date. The Diamond Belle is currently in a Cleveland shipyard undergoing its five-year maintenance checkup and the job is taking longer than originally planned. Due to this unforeseen situation, we have to reschedule the cruise.

There is a silver lining here though! We are rescheduling the Détroit History Cruise for Sunday, July 23, 2023, from 2:45 to 5:00 p.m.

This date coincides with the French Novena, held at Ste. Anne de Détroit, July 23, 2023, at noon. The bilingual Mass (French and English) will be followed by a free pig roast, with French and French Canadian side dishes and desserts. If you would like to attend the French Novena and visit Ste. Anne de Détroit, the last standing landmark of Old French Détroit, this is a great opportunity! You’ll have enough time to eat and head to the dock to catch the Détroit French History Cruise!

If you are not able to attend the Détroit French History Cruise on July 23, 2023, your tickets will be fully refunded. However, if you can attend on July 23 and start your day at Ste. Anne de Détroit, your exposure and knowledge of the French history in Détroit will be enhanced greatly!

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience the rescheduling may cause. We will be contacting ticket holders or you can email us directly and let us know if you are able to reschedule or not.
